This is a saying that usually refers to shooting a gun at something. if you aim to hit a target, you may miss it entirely. However, if you aim for the center of the target, you will at least hit your target.
How does this relate to MK? Well, if you want to sell more, for example, aim to sell what is needed to be a star consultant or court of sales. If you do not reach your goal, you will still reach the original goal of selling more.
If you want to be a director, aim to start with 50 unit members, so you will most likely reach your goal of becoming director.

Im glad you posted this because it reminds me of the old adage “slow is harder and fast is easier”…I think the person in question consultant or director should go as slowly or quickly as they want to and do what is comfortable for them.

That is true, fast for me and fast for you might not be the same anyway! I guess they just think doing things fast builds excitement and momentum, which makes sense. But doing it the right way counts more than being the fastest.

Hey when you went to Allisons debut did she talk about any of the hurdles she went through? Also how many guests do you think they signed up?

Oh my gosh!! Almost every guest there signed up. Gloria Mayfield Banks did the marketing. I could hurt myself for not having guests!!! (However, I did go to get motivated….) =)
She said she had lots of support and was very appreciative of her unit/directors. It seems to me that she just retains people by the way she treats them. Like you mentioned, she’s only lost 3 directors. That is good!
She didn’t talk much, other nationals mainly spoke. I would love to hear more about how she got there though.

I thought Blacksheep might post about the debut as well in the Kaybot Korner of MKV. I went to a debut in 1996 where GMB spoke and about 30 women signed up on the spot! I can see why that happened. GMB is probably one of the best Director MK has ever had…….people always want Gloria to be at their debut. Im glad you got a chance to go. I have a friend in TX I should have gone but TX is far Im in MD.

Wow, that is pretty far. I am here in the area so I decided I needed to go and get some motivation and inspiration. I am rewriting my daily affirmation today. People always want to be around positive people, so I am gonna do my best to stay positive as much as possible.

Dont believe the naysayers about the positive affirmations. People were teaching this stuff in business school and marriage seminars and some churches before MK ever got a hold of it. It works believe me. Some people who have illnesses and repeat to themselves they are well and they get well, and Im not talking about the common cold. I laugh at some of the things people say
and they they think MK is the only company that does this. At IBM they used to sing silly songs too and act likeo they were on
a football team. Some people would be shocked at what goes on
in sales meetings in the car industry and other industries.
They dress up and sing songs just like in MK its no different

Yeah, September was a really good month for me and I did my affirmations every day that month. I think I just believed more in myself. I said stuff like “Others are drawn to me and want what I have to offer”. My hubby thought I was crazy b/c I said them outloud and had it taped up everywhere til I memorized it.
